is not staying in bay next year.i heard this from a pretty good source.not saying where she is going, but wherever she goes, she will make some team a very good one.
It's common knowledge that it's Trumann. Everyone was talking about it during the conference tournament. Should be a great fit and pickup for the program there.

If her family does not physically move into the Trumann district, she will be ineligble to play there.

That will be the case unless it is a legal transfer. This can be achieved by the Bay school board simply agreeing to her leaving Bay. It is done on a regular basis, just not so often with student athletes. The family along with Trumann can also apply for a hardship. One of her parents could simply be hired on at Trumann and it be found it in Lacy's best interest to attend there.
Situations like these are not so Black and White....'cause a lot of Gray area will come in play.

Not true. Chip Lane has signed release papers for her NOT to attend Bay. She is free to go to whatever school will take her. Also, her stepmom is a teacher at Trumann.
As long as everything is done by July 1, she will be fine. A few kids in Manila are leaving because of the boys basketball situation. They were told by the AAA that they just had to have everything done by then.
Good Luck to Lacy if she stays or if she leaves She is A great girl...
So WHAT about the program at BAY.. Lauren stepped in and DID a GREAT job pitching but she is a SENIOR. WHO else is there to step in and pitch next year?
Well others leave as well....... Good LUCK Lady Jackets
i keep hoping she might stay and take the basketball and softball teams straight to the top at state. Her power would be felt by all we play in the 1A conference. In the 3A that she'll be attending, she'll be a great asset but all bigger schools have thier assets as well.
She is so loved at our school by parents and her fellow students, we will miss terribly. trummann doesnt know how lucky they are.

I believe Trumann is 4A-3
She'll be playing area teams such as Highland, Westside, Pocahontas and Valley View

I think I was the 1st one to mention this and everybody flipped out and some didn't believe it but now it looks like it is true, huh? Oh well, what do I know anyway. Can anybody really blame her parents? I don't. The only reason she would stay at Bay would be because of her loyalty to her school/friends. Other than that she would be better off in the long run to move up to a larger conference school for the exposure. She could stay and whip up on all the little schools or step up and face schools like Westside, VV, and Highland so that she can really tell where she stands. I wish her the best in the future and have known her for a long time and she truly is a good kid.

The more exposure a player get, the more chances they have to move on to the college level. Players need to be continually be moving forward if they are to improve. In Bay's case, despite it being out of their control, is moving backwards from an athletic standpoint.
