Manila lost Cam Ashabranner to BIC. That's the second major player to go to BIC. Somebody please stop the bleeding before its too late.

It's really getting ugly. They don't know how many Sr. Boys are gonna play this year.

They may have enough for a team but this is going to be the worst year Manila has had in Sr. High boys basketball in a long time. Everyone should know why the boys are transferring............................I will definitely be there to watch the B.I.C. -Manila game

i kno what its like to be with hud and its not as bad what all of yall think these kids that are leaving or quiting are mental midgits!!!!! we finally get a coach in here that doesnt sugar coat anything and tells the kids the truth. he doesnt care who mor momma or your daddy is........the one that left first go ahead and let him go to bic we were tired of having one person to try to run the show anyway...good luck all you other bic players trying to shoot the ball

Actually this is the third person that is going to BIC from Manila this year. Oh and legend killer I don't think it is the sole fact that Coach Hud is hard, I think the reason they are transferring is more because Manila shows no interest in athletics at all. I mean having football is cool I guess but why would you go and get another sport that you could never win at when you can't even manage the sports you already have. I know for a fact that the boys on the baseball team had to buy their own uniforms. That is ridiculous. I don't think anybody does that. Also Coach Hud didn't do anything with the ball team all summer and wouldn't even have open gym, so how are the teams supposed to get any better. If I was going to school at Manila I would want to transfer too.

its over unless you kno the truth about coach hud opening the gym or not dont talk at all we have open every day and the reason why we arent going anywere is beacuse we didnt have enough people....and for baseball yea we had to buy our own jerseys thats because it wasnt our year to have them next year the school will buy us 2 new jerseys.....and for football you never kno we give our hearts out everyday at practice and im sorry that we cant please you!!!!!

From the few people I've been around at Monette, they already have mixed feelings.
One of the 3 kids leaving has been threatning to leave since the 4th grade, you know who i'm speaking of you stayed with them for a while.
the other (Kam) has been to Riverside, BIC, Panama City,& Manila in the last 5 years, I dont think Todd is going to be very happy anywhere.
Im not going to down on kids. I hope they have great sucess where ever their at.I know Blake and Kam have worked hard on where their at as in basketball.
You know what it took to earn a state championship, does these 2 people( the best Manila had) moving to bic set the standards to earn another title!

Last: I supported you strongly and had the upmost respect from what you showed throughout your career at BIC and college, BUT after the coments you just made that respect just went south. I thought you were a better kid than that.

Ok legend killer sorry if I offended you but I have heard from several people that go to Manila and play for Manila that they are not doing anything this summer with basketball and that Hud won't even open the gym. If that is wrong my apologies. Next it is true that they had to buy their own uniforms in baseball cuz you mentioned that. I am not downing any kids either, I am just stating the simple fact that Manila does not show as strong of an interest in sports as other schools. Finally don't ever take it to a personal level and bring about who I am or who my family is on this website. I was just stating the fact that to do good in football, you have to be big and strong and experienced. You can't get that in a few years sorry. I am not saying that the kids won't play hard every game and do good, I am just sayin that everyone else in the conference has had football for a while. So from now on just please state what you want to say without bringing up facts about my life to let everybody know who I am. Thank you!!!!!!

To Legend Kille: FYI Its Over still lives with one of the players that is going to BIC. He has not been threatening to go to BIC since the 4th grade. Why are you so concerned about it that you are talking to people in Monette about the kids? All of the boys work hard not just 2 of them. Its over is one of the grea-*test*-('") kids there is and deserves respect.

and my kids would leave Manila too......Manila School board needs to grow
a set and do something about the coaching, its getting serious over there and
that is a shame.

I think Hud is a good solid Coach. It does seem that he weaars out his welcome after a few years of having a pretty succesful program and I think that is because he DOES tell it like it is and HE DOESNT care who your momma or your daddy is. You gotta kind respect that in these days of political correctness

what is going on at manila is there problem.......i can say from experience though that their attitudes and the way they go about things is different....... but if that is they way that their school district wants to be represented, like i said thats there problem......... i give the kids credit for wanting to get away from that and basketballdad your the one to talk about needing to ''grow a set something''.........
