Just interested in everyones thoughts on the game. I think this will be a very competitive game.

Looking at the Bobcat's Schedule for the remainder of the season looks like Rector will be WR's last good chance at another win. However, keep in mind what happened last year. The Cougars were on a roll until a rouging the kicker penalty gave WR an automatic first down. WR went on to win the game by a score of 26-22

This coming from a fan of a team that chose homecoming against a 1st year program. Then lose to a winless team the following week (at home). How was the short ride home Pix? If WR can slow down Grays rushing ability then its a win for the cats. MT must be able to defend both pass and run. This could turn in to a shootout.

Chances are Walnut Ridge will lose to Cross County, Augusta, EPC, Market Tree. They've already lost to McCrory. It has nothing to do with Hoxie, and Hoxie has nothing to do with Walnut Ridge. Sorry you don't like to read facts.

Michael Gray is definitely making an impact for MT this year and is getting much well deserved publicity. This, like any other MT football game is not just about Gray. He is exceptional, but without some good blocking and an outstanding team around him, he would not be able to put up such exceptional numbers!

I agree with pixtaker. MT by 3 TD's.

It was MUCH closer than MANY of you suspected it would be......

ESPECIALLY our good friends a couple of miles south!

We had NO ANSWER for Gray......Without him....WR gave them all they wanted and could handle...
We scored our last TD too early ...took the lead with 4+ minutes left on the clock.....we couldn't stop him....They scored with 30+seconds left on the clock.

A gut wrenching loss....
but our boys played tough and took it to them!

It was a great game . I mean a great game. Bobcats just couldn't hold on at the end. Bobcats 3 loses have all been come from behind wins. They need to play every second of all 4 quarters. My hats off for picking the conference leader as choice for homecoming. Says alot about the character of our staff and confidence in the young men. nearsports/clap.gif
