MISSOURI GUARD TO PLAY AT CROWLEY’S RIDGE COLLEGE
ST. LOUIS, MO – Cody Holland, a 6’6 guard from Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis has decided to play his college basketball for the Pioneers of Crowley’s Ridge College next season. Holland signed his letter of intent on Tuesday in a ceremony at the high school with Pioneer Head Coach Chris Perkins.
“I am excited about the challenge of playing at the next level and in a new program,” said Holland. “At Crowley’s Ridge I will earn a good education and a chance to win a basketball national championship.”
Holland has led the Crusaders to a 17-12 record so far in his senior season. He is currently averaging 14 points and nine rebounds and five assists per game while playing the point guard position for Coach Leonard Payne. He is shooting 42% from the floor and has connected on 32 of 96 three-pointers so far this season for a 33% effort.
“Cody is the type of person, student, and player that we want in our basketball program here at Crowley’s Ridge,” said Pioneers Head Coach Chris Perkins. “Cody is a tall, athletic guard that will give us some advantages in match ups with our opponents for the next two seasons. He is versatile in that he can play the point or shooting guard positions.”
