Yea, but when you had two horses like Jones & McFadden, why in the heck would you waste your time passing the ball? If he had stayed around till this year, then he could have showed everyone that passing arm.

I thought from the start that he might be just a little overrated but now I know he was totally overrated. The kid needs to learn a little bit about patience, responsibility, and commitment.

If it wasn't clear the first time, please allow me to repeat myself.

I never said I did have 1/10 the talent, even though I will start just as many games as him at U.S.C. wink.gif

Maybe not.

Weatherman, do you prefer salt or pepper on your bull?

Sanchez is listed as the starter now. Pete is having some media fun.

If Mustain was at Arkansas today we would be up 21-0 at Auburn. Under Petrino he would have been scary good. He will start his Sr. year at USC, thats not bad I don't agree with his mother's antics but I don't agree with the way TCTWF and his cronies dealt with it either. Right now Mustain is in USC's future plans no doubt.

I like pepper. I don't eat salt. Mustain did happen to get a few snaps this weekend huh ? I still say he will never start a game for them, and Sanchez threw 3 picks against Arizona St..

Mitch is right back where he belongs...on the bench. nearsports/razorback.gif

I have seen a lot of kids that were great High School players and never really transitioned into much in college, but once the whining and gripping started with him and his mom I really quit caring and just started laughing at how ego driven of a kid he is to think that he was going to run the show where ever he went.

I have a question for all the Mustain haters. Assume that YOUR son was one of the Nations top rated quarterbacks, and he could pretty well attend any college he wanted.

Based on YOUR son's observations, he chose the program that he felt he would best fit into, even if he had to leave the state.

Then the COACH comes into your living room, sits on your couch and tells your son and YOU things like:

Your high school coach is going to be our new offensive co-ordinator. He will have total control to install the offense that you have grew up in. You can stay at home and be a state hero.

So based on this statement, your YOUR son choses to stay at home and attend college, and you give your blessings to his decision.

Then the season begans, and suprise, suprise. It seems the COACH is not letting your high school coach have much controll over the offense. It is run, run, and more run.

Now the question is, "if this were YOUR son, how would YOU react?"

I have a feeling that most of the Mustain bashers would be reactinbg like Mitch's mother did!!!

Football is a team sport. The Springdale crew seemed to be more concerned about themselves as individuals then the team as a whole. This seemed to not set well with the rest of the team.

Its been 2 years since that whole debacle, so why is everyone still allowing this Mustain thing to upset them so much?

GET OVER IT ALREADY!

You hit the nail on the head Slim. Man, just think what the Razorbacks would have done if Darren and Felix "HADN'T" stayed for their senior year. Those guys put the team first, didn't leave for the NFL... dry.gif

I sure hope you're not blaming those two kids for taking the millions that the NFL was dangling in front of them. I'm pretty sure that's the reason we go to college...to increase our earning power.

Boston RedHogs- 11-16-2008
EXACTLY!!

No on one any of these threads can pretend to say they would turn down a $70 Million contract to play one more year of college ball.

I LOVE the Razorbacks. Let me repeat that, I LOVE THE RAZORBACKS. Probably one of the few things I am really passionate about.

HOWEVER, if I had the opportunity to sign a multi-million dollar contract and forgo a senior season laden with uncertainty due to coaching changes, I'd put that pen in my hand so fast I'd get pen burn!

Neabbfan- 11-16-2008
I'm not blaming them at all. I just quoted him as saying that the Springdale crew only thought of themselves over the team. Thats the same thing that Darren and Felix did and those are just examples of putting yourself over the team.

Not necessarily saying that the SD crew put themselves ahead of the team, but that situation and DMac and Felix cashing in is in no way comparable. dry.gif
