Can I ask why the heck this thread even exists? I know she's a high profile athlete for the area, but where does the line for privacy, respect and morals end?
So, she's hurt. You can't turn back the hands of time and change it. But dang! Where does it end?

If you read the last SEVERAL post, you would see this has moved away from aboutLacy & more about transferring, moving, school dictators ( ego tripping coaches), town politics, & schools that just don't give a c**p.

That line went away with the invention of message boards.
Drama is an under statement!!Ok I far as I know she hurt herself sliding into second. The rest of that stuff is false. No one player should be treated different from the other players. I mean what if she got a hit and had to slide into second or third, is the coach not suppose to let her hit, b/c if he did then the parents would be on him about that to, or better yet should he tell all the players they better slide if that is what it takes to be safe, but not one particular player. And what about these other players, everyone is talking about Lacy, who I hope continues to have a great career and wish the best. But the other girls are still practicing and trying to salvage the season regardless of all the negative comments and focus.
People are attacking the coaches and school when this was just an accident with a ton of overreaction. As far as Lacy leaving who knows that might be true I heard she was going to trumann!!!WOW!!!I hope she is ready for change and new everything. And I hope is makes new friends b/c I moved schools my nineth grade year and to this day I don't see my old friends only my new ones, which are great friends!!I just wish this would pass and let Bay move on with or without her!! Bay 3-0 conf, looking to go and win state!!!!

I got headache from just reading that. Btw, you're statements are not totally accurate either. A very reliable source told me how it happened and it has been explained in a previous post.
I think the (over)reaction may be of how it was handled prior to and after the fact. There are some very upset parents because of this.
