More drama with Bay and Lacey

I think that it is terrible what happen to Lacey. I have heard all these different stories about how she got hurt, and who we should blame. I don't know what to believe. Last night I heard that the Bay school district (Chip Layne) called her mom and told her that Bay would not pay for her injury. The school doesn't have insurance that will pay unless a kid has a heart attack. I hope this isn't true, and I don't see how it could be. I also heard this is one of the reasons Lacey is changing schools next year. Could someone tell the real story, and put this to rest. Does anyone know if a school has to have insurance to cover something like this. Even if the school doesn't have insurance why would they not want to pay?

Why would a school put itself in jeopardy like that (carying no insurance on it's players)? If that's the case, I foresee a lawsuit.

What's so sad is that insurance of that nature is about $10-$20 per athlete.

What happened?

Bic has a secondary insurance that picks up what your personal insurance doesn't pay.Its not great but it does help.There are some things it doesn't pay.

I also want to tell Lacy to hang in there.From what little bit I was around her she seems to be a really good kid & a very good athlete.Your time will still come your young with 2 more years to go.Keep working hard.
