You speak truth.

There's a reason that I don't go to the basketball games at ASU anymore...let's go after those JUCO guys... nearsports/doh.gif .

There's a reason I don't go either. I'll tell you his name but I think the censors would eat it up anyway.

Dewey Cox- 02-13-2008
And you wonder where Skyler Bowlin and Kirk Porter could have went if Mouzy is doing that good.

Didn't Mouzy walk on? Bowlin and Porter each accepted $60K-$70K scholarships.

He had those same offers but wanted to play D1.If he continues to improve he'll have a D1 scholly next year.

Former Nettleton Raider Matt Mouzy and former Blytheville Chickasaw John Fowler have the UALR Trojans off to a 3-0 start. Mouzy leads the team in scoring at 15.7ppg while Fowler is scoring 12.7ppg. Mouzy is hitting over 42% from the 3pt line and Fowler is averaging over 4 boards a game. Nice job guys nearsports/clap.gif

Gutsy move. Looks like it's paying off. He's a gym hoss and truly works on his game. Not just the shooting part. I thought he was missing the boat by not taking the other offers, but his heart and mind were set on D1. UALR looks smart right now. Hats off to Matt. nearsports/clap.gif

After last nights win over Loyola Maramount the Trojans move to 5-0. Mouzy led the way with 21 points bringing his average to 16.6ppg. He is hitting 46.3% from the 3pt line.

Congrads to these two young men and good luck to them.

That's cool. I loved watching John play at Blytheville. He had such a knack for getting his hands on the ball and he knew how to score. But, he also worked very hard on defense.

And Mouzy was always fun to watch. He could light it up.
