He didn't call our troops war criminals. He called the people who sent them there that.

people who sent our troops to war aren't the criminals. Those who attacked our nation are the criminals. Ridding the world of organized terrorism should be on the minds of those in Washington as well as everyone else in our nation...not using the situations in Iraq and Afghanistan as a political wedge.

Blame those who sent our troops into battle if you choose, however the opportunities to bring our troops home are in the hands of the majority. The democrats have had the upper hand in Washington since the 2004 general election...yet the troops remain deployed in the middle-east.

Will they bring home the troops when it is a perfect political talking point to drive a wedge? Of course not...that in itself is criminal.

God Bless our Nation and God be with our troops

I get so nearsports/censored.gif sick and tired of hearing this stupid argument...

Yeah, they may have the majority, but they don't have enough of a majority to overcome a presidential veto...

EVERY piece of legislation calling for a withdrawal, etc., that has been sent to the Oval Office has been VETOED by Mr. Bush.

Don't sit there and say they haven't tried, because that is absolute bull...

The efforts to bring our troops home have been discussed in press conferences and on soap boxes on the campaign trail. Bringing our troops home from the middle east cures nothing. It simply leave the job of cleaning up a mess for someone else. The troops would have been brought home by the democrats if it would have been politically beneficial. That is not bull.

Yup. You are absolutely correct. It's too bad we are doing absolutely nothing to find them.

From April of 2007...

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Bush is warming up his veto muscles after the Senate passed a war funding bill Thursday that sets a deadline for withdrawal of U.S. combat forces from Iraq by next April.

The 51 votes cast for the bill are nowhere near the 67 needed to override a veto, which Bush says he will deliver swiftly. The House passed the same measure on a 218-208 vote Wednesday night.

I couldn't agree more.

I don't remember Saddam Hussein proclaiming his role in the 9/11 attacks, or the bombing of the Cole, or the embassies...but yet we found him in a hole in the ground.

Whatever happened to that Bin Laden guy anyway?

Apparently he is the best hide-and-seek player ever. He's the Tiger Woods of hide-and-seek.

Bin Laden got that ring from Frodo Baggins and now GWB is crawling around on the White House floor moaning... "My Preciousssss..."

I guess the whole situation would have been better if Saddam Hussein would have been left in power in Iraq. The Iraqi people and the Middle-East were in much better shape during the 30 plus years of terror. A little closer to home is Cuba and their booming economy and lavish lifestyle the small island country has enjoyed under Castro. Monarchies, especially those who persecute their people, have a proven record of success. You're perfectly right...

Moving on to Bin Laden...where is he anyway? I would say he is hid out somewhere trying to do his work of terrorism and having a hard time being successful since he and his henchmen attacked on 9/11. Or maybe it would be better if we'd never gone after the thug and simply invited him to the White House for a sit down discussion and a photo-op....maybe given him a Nobel price and simply discussed ways to fight global warming. Let's talk or better yet, set up an embargo on the sale of all goods to these Middle-East countries. That'll show um we mean business! I'm sure the governments in the rest of the world will join in at the chorus of Coon-bah-ya. Sit back and do nothing...play nicey nice to terrorists around the world and everything will be a whole lot better. Terrorism will simply go away on it's own. Great idea!

Saddam is dead in Bin Laden's ring of terrorism has been on the run for years. Go right ahead and blame Bush for that.

Why are we even in Iraq nearsports/0c4fae0e.gif You want to find the dirty bombs ? You want to find the "real terrorist" ? You want to find Bin Laden ? You want to find the money that is backing all these organitions ? ....GO TO RUSSIA ! Or are we just too scared to go ?
