I have not been deer hunting in about six years. Before that I had killed several deer in my younger years. My borther talked me in to going this past Sunday. So I went out and dusted off the cob webs from my bow and shot a few practice rounds. It was like riding a bycycle. Anyhow, at 6:48 Sunday morning I killed a 10 point. 10 1/2 G2,(tallest I have ever seen), with a 14 1/2 inch spread. He weighed 176 pounds, and it scored a 122 points. I was very proud of myself. I just thought I would tell all of the deer hunters my little story. blush.gif

I am not much of a deer eater, so I had it cut and packaged. My brother new of a couple of families who need it a lot more than me. I think that made me feel better than the kill itself. But I will take your word at it, I hear the tenderloin is the best part. blush.gif

Deer chili is the best, followed closely by summer sausage.
