Any word on Matt Hall from Russellville yet, I know he has became very interested in Ole Miss lately?

Our overall class ranking is about par to where Arkansas has averaged over the past few years.

You have to credit Petrino for being able to hang onto all the verbal commitments and also be able to make a few quality steals at the last minute. Not bad for only 6 weeks on the job.

Looking ahead to putting the past 18 months behind us and a unified Hog Nation once again.

GO HOGS!!!

I agree with you Red Hog, Petrino has done a good job of holding on the all the early commitments and like you said getting a couple of steals on the last day.
Alot of credit needs to be given to Tim Horton for all his hard work during the transition, Pitrino did the smart thing and kept him on the staff, him being a former player and home grown kid from Arkansas.

Actually the overall average for Arkansas the last 3 recruting classes with Scout.Com was 32, and the overall average with rivals .com was 31. As of yesterday Arkansas was ranked 28 by scout.com but ended the day at 23. Gained 5 places today by just being able to keep home grown talet at home. Joe Adams from USC and Brian Christopher to Texas Tech. something we haven't always been able to do in the past.

Dosen't look like we lost anything to Ole Miss, was curious how that would end up.

I can't seem to figure out how the experts such as Rivals.con and Scout.com come up with their rankings.

It's funny Arkansas is listed at #23 tonight and Ole Miss is listed #34 with Scout.com. But with Rivals.com Ole Miss is listed #24 and Arkansas is #37.

It should be pretty close, it they both use the same formulas on how they rank,
I thought they used the 5 Star, 4 Star ,3 Star system.

Almost forgot to mention Ryan Mallett, probably the best recruit we got this year , he has to be addded to this class, maybe that could put is in the top 20?

ESPN/Scouts, Inc. now has Arkansas' class ranked at 18. nearsports/razorback.gif
