Coach Pittman was captain at missouri. Nettletonʻs returning their top 5 goal scorers from last yearʻs team that SWEPT gct, paragould, and valley view, and tied jonesboro. They belong in any top 5.

i watched a lot of local soccer last year and i do not recall nettleton and jonesboro ending a game in a tie?
where was the game played and what was the score?
With at least a couple of games in for many teams, we can begin to see how everybody is shaping up for this year. What kind of predictions do you see now?
One thing that i see as obvious is that GCT will be better than 9th in the NEA like it was said when the thread was started. The potential was very noticeable before the season started for anyone who had watched but i think Tech has suprised alot of people opening with three straight wins over competetive teams: Searcy, Batesville SS and Marion.
At best GCT would be #5 right now. #8 at worst.

WOW...Batesville SS is decent now? When I played soccer for Tech they were the only team we beat in the first 2 years of the program.
Calling them decent requires about a jar and a half of vaseline to stretch things out.

With Batesville SS losing to Batesville only by a score of 2--1 I would have to say they are getting better. I was mostly referring to the other two teams which are both good 6A schools.
GCT soccer and Hawain football have a lot in common right now.
