This past Thursday was a practice meet for high school wasn't it? Do the real meets start on Monday at Jonesboro?

Gambit45- 04-03-2005
Does anybody know about the meet Monday like if it's the first official one or what time it starts? 0c4fae0e.gif

At JHS last night there were alot of teams... and some big showings.... i missed all of the races due to previous engagements..... but i saw the JHS guy jump a 22 foot 9 inch long jump his first try...... i heard JHS did really well that meet.......

JHStrack- 04-05-2005
Jonesboro got second at that meet. Josh Parkey ran the 3200m individual in 10:24! He smoked everyone. They also won the 1600m relay aswell as the 3200m relay. clap.gif

Gambit45- 04-05-2005
What was the fas-*test*-('") time on the 1600m run and who got first place?

JHStrack- 04-06-2005
I'm not sure who won the 1600m individual but Mountain Home won the meet.

sheerdominance- 04-06-2005
i thought someone told me parky won the 1600m individual run also. he is insanely awesome.

JHStrack- 04-07-2005
Yeah, Parkey is a great runner. He trains really hard, he deserves to win.

The guy that jumped 22 feet 9 inches is Avery Taylor. He also won the triple jump and the 200 meter run and he finished 2nd in the 100 meter run. Avery was the High Point Champion at the meet. Avery has also been offered a full track scholarship to UALR.

JHStrack- 04-08-2005
Yeah, Avery is a great athlete. But off the track he is kinda weird. LOL. He has like the state record for the long jump.
