I figured that the starters for Riverside would be Love, Hogan, O'Guinn, Warhurst, and Elam

I was personally at there practice last night, and the way things are lookin, the people that end up being starters might be different than what people thought

Someone needs to tell that kid that many have made that mistake and come back begging to play again, even players 10 times better than he could ever imagine being. Back in the late 90's the Rebels were playing some pretty dominate ball and had starters quiting because Buster would raise his voice. A kid has to grow up at some point, because you can't start quiting things or it will become a habit.
If indeed he did quit someone needs to put a boot in his tail and tell him to wake up. If you play for Buster and he never yells at you ever, then you should probably quit. Cause that only means one thing; you really really are terrible.

this happens every year at Team camp a player says hes done then comes back to the next camp

dont forget the late 80s.they went to the state tournament several times and finished runner-up in 89.in the late 90s they did the same thing.i think 97-98?
i didn't notice Riverside back in the 80's, but what I was talking about in the late 90's which you would be correct about 96-97 & 97-98. The reason I mentioned those years is because he had 3 starters all quit in one week and it was really late into the season. Of course they came crying and crawling back into his office begging for mercy.
Somehow or another the man keeps competing year after year with the exact same press and plays as he ran in the early 90's. Kids might want to just xxxx it up and start paying attention to the guy. They may actually become players!
