They did looked good for 2a, no doubt. Not sure if they are contenders for
any kind of title ( conference, dist etc.) just yet though. Brookland beat them
and V V did not have any problem at all..... again i know both those schools are
in the higher classification, but getting beat by Brookland...

Yes this is true.........i know of three that will be playing at Cedar Ridge next year, and from watching their practices they will be a lot better than any one would have thought. no they won't go 40-2 again but they will win more than just 10 games.

Most of this thread has been about BIC's and CR's move-ins. Just a general comment. I wonder if both schools will hold a "get to know your team" party. That way the local fans will know the players on this years teams..

Cedar Ridge actually got some really awesome transfers. They brought in senior Nate Fuller from Southside and junior twins Hayden and Hunter Limbaugh from Batesville. They're all really athletic and with Murphree and the Kelch Brothers, they'll be set. No doubt we won't be as good as last year, but coming off a 40 win season, who could honestly expect to be as good. It will probably take some time for the guys to mesh together. They'll no doubt be good for the next few years with the talent they've got coming up. Our junior high team is stacked with the returning players Henderson, Butler, Crawford, Steele, Baker, and the much improved Lovell. They also have the additions of 9th grader Josh Limbaugh, 8th grader Blake Fuller, and 7th graders Spencer Reaves and Cole Crabtree. If the school stays around long enough, they boys should be pretty solid all the way through 2014.

Fuller didn't play at Southside last year did he?? The reason I ask is because I don't show his name on the District Tourney Roster or the State Tourney Roster from last year.. Just curious..
