Nolan has found one last way to dig under the skin of the powers to be at U of A. I'm sure that's not what he's based his decision on entirely, but you know it's in the back of his mind. stealing in state recruits, taking national attention from UofA and focusing it back up in the other corner of the state. Also, if there's anyone who can take the UofA not playing ASU debate beyond the state's public eye, it's him.

Nolen is at his best when he feels he has something to prove against the man. The man in this case being UofA.

I doubt ASU steals any in-state kid that the U of A wants. Now Nolan may keep some in-state kids from going to Ole Miss, and that helps the Hogs.

Most of Nolan's best recruits at Arkansas were roll players not being recruited by big name schools. That's what most of his Memphis recruits were. I think he'll still be able to find some of those types and he'll be able to market his style of play. It could definitely be a good situation for ASU.

I just got off the phone with Coach Richardson. He told me he was in Jonesboro yesterday to meet with ASU, but there has still been no deal reached. He said that he still has more meetings scheduled with ASU in the coming days.

They should have used that money to help get NR to ASU. So what if the FOI act is in affect. Are they afraid people will see they didn't do all they could to get a coach of his caliber?
The ignorance (lack of knowledge) amazes me when people ask "If he's so good, why hasn't he been coaching somewhere else?" Cha-Ching!!!
If ASU wants to be competative at the national level, give him what he wants. Who better to take a chance on than someone who has won everywhere he's been, even national championships.

I'm very aware. Guess what, it didn't hurt my feelings. He has stated that was only meant for a select few. And what does that have to do with winning and $$$, the 2 things ASU isn't familiar with. If you want ASU to be a 2nd rate school don't hire him. He's already brought nation attention to J'Boro and he hasn't even took the job. And by the way, someone like Nolan doesn't apply for jobs. He accepts or declines.

I agree Buffballer. Nolan put up with much more racism than he could ever dish out. Sigma Chi will probably shoot one of Nolan's horses if he comes to J'boro.
