Trevor Matheny will continue what he started in the district tournament, and shut down a very good Tuckerman team in a HUGE upset.

5:00 Rector(W3) vs. Sloan Hendrix(4th 2)
Facing probably the best hitting team in the region, Sloan-Hendrix will have to score 15 runs to win. I don't see them doing that against Mason Knight.

7:30 Walnut Ridge(2nd 2) vs. Marked Tree((3rd 3)
Walnut Ridge's bats are just enough to get past ace Richie Tate and Marked Tree.

I'll refrain from predicting the other game.

Bold predicton there game, but you have to remember Tuckermn has an outstanding pitcher also. Actualy there are 2 of them that have been on fire, Hunter FInney and Chris Clark. The bats of WR might be good enough to get past Marked Tree, but they couldnt even touch Chris Clark. I dont think that this will be an upset, we will wait and find out.

The way i see it there will be no upsets. Hillcrest and Sloan are both good and really need to get hot, if they are not hot like the 1st 2 rounds of the district then they wont win. WR and Marked Tree is a game that will not be an upset either way. My winners are Tuckerman, Riverside, Rector, and WR.

Negative. WR, Hillcrest, Tuckerman, Rector make it to the 2nd round. their conference is not as good as ours.

everyone can count sloan out of regionals just like they did in conference and district but right now we have nothing to lose and everything to gain and just because we laid down and died against tuckerman doesn't mean its goin to be the same when it comes to rector and that spot in the state tournament....expect sloan to come out fighting and also expect a great game....i'm not predicting any outcomes because anyone can get beat on any given day and it all comes down to who wants it more.....so good luck to everyone

there is alot of good competition at regionals this year. i think i already know how the game between rector and sloan is goin to go. walnut ridge and marked tree will be a good game. they are both really great teams. but i dont think that bic is goin to upset tuckerman. for one we are playing them at our home field, and two we want that spot at state more.

Well there greyhound 19 im gonna just jump into this little conersation because i have been watchin yall play and i think yall got everything it takes to be top four in region and yes i did just say it SLOAN will be dancing as a cinderella story coming off there not so good conferance record of 1-9 but look were they are now.

You say that without seeing ANY of the teams from that conference play...

I'll say from TOP to BOTTOM, both conferences are pretty evenly matched. I would say that the 2A-2 has better hitting, just because of Tuckerman and WR, but there are some pretty good pitchers in the 2A-3. When Trevor Matheny, Richie Tate, Mason Knight, Blake Hogan, and Garrett Weaver are on, they are really tough. I would say that those 5 pitchers are all better than anyone that the 2A-2 will throw out there, without a doubt.

I say Rector beats Sloan but they have to come out and play and not take them lightly. Tuckerman will blow by BIC with ease. Riverside gets beat by Hillcrest, will be big if they jump on them early. Marked Tree beats Walnut Ridge with handilly i say 6-8 runs.
