It depends. Some squads primary purpose is to cheer for the teams. Others just cheer in order to compete.

Again, we're trying to compare apples to oranges, but in the end its all considered a fruit...

Arguments such as this are the reasons why I have pulled myself away from this site many times. Some of you just don't really understand when to shut up, do you? I have cheered for years now and have the grand national championship, skills, and body to prove it. I encourage any of you to attend a Central Arkansas (UCA) cheerleading practice. You couldn't make it for five minutes. I can guarantee that any one of my teammates and coaches would be laughing hysterically at you...harder than I am right now due to your lack of competence.
