I have cheered for years now and have the grand national championship, skills, and body to prove it. I encourage any of you to attend a Central Arkansas (UCA) cheerleading practice. There is only a few that keep bringing up the arguments that cheerleaders cant do this and cant do that. Most of us on here are very supportive. I have carried my daughter to so many competitions and loved every minute of it. Her squad has also won National Grand Champion. I do agree with you about some people dont know when to quit on here but that is no reason to not post out thoughts.

Ahhh its ok They are just jeolous While there out slapping guys butts or tackling and rubbing up on other dudes in football or basketball, I am throwing there girlfriends up in the air and pleasing them in a way they couldnt. Lifes rough getting to hang out with all the girls!

What is the status of making cheerleading a sport?

If you dont think cheerleading is hard you are crazy. I tried to hang but I just couldnt do it. I would honestly like to see some of the people that say its not hard try it. People think that all cheerleaders do is dance you are wrong. Honestly it takes about a week or so to learn how to do a dance..how long does it take to learn how to play basketball or a play not very long. Cheerleaders also have more pressure on them and I know that from experience. If you fall when tumbling, drop a stunt, mess up a dance or cheer people notice this stuff. Most people dont know that you mess up on a basketball play unless they know the play. So everyone that thinks cheerleading isnt hard...sorry you are wrong.
