"...redistribute the wealth" -Barack Hussein Oboma
Rebel04- 10-28-2008
fastpitch62- 10-29-2008
ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT:
I am the first President in U.S. history to enter office with a criminal
record.
Misdemeanor charge while Clinton committed perjury while in office.
I invaded and occupied two countries at a continuing cost of over one
billion dollars per week.
Money well spent. I haven't seen another plane drop into any of our buildings lately. Have you?
I spent the U.S. surplus and effectively bankrupted the U.S. Treasury.
Your party of Barney Franks, Chris Dodd, Maxine Waters etc promoted Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac putting people that couldn't afford houses into them with no money down and McCain, Bush, and it irks me to say, even Clinton tried to get them to stop it.
I shattered the record for the largest annual deficit in U.S. history.
Refer to above. Plus fighting wars cost money. By the way, the 2 tax breaks you received during his term, you sent them back right?
I set an economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in any
12-month period.
Again refer to the above.
I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12-month period.
Same as above.
I set the all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the
U.S. stock market. In my first year in office, over 2 million Americans
lost their jobs and that trend continues.
Totally false. What news do you watch? MSNBC or the Obama channel on Dish Network?
I'm proud that the members of my cabinet are the richest of any
administration in U.S. history. My "poorest millionaire, " Condoleezza
Rice, has a Chevron oil tanker named after her.
Your making this up. He didn't say this and doesn't even really deserve a response.
I set the record for most campaign fund-raising trips by a U.S.
President.
Yawn
I am the all-time U.S and world record-holder for receiving the most
corporate campaign donations.
My largest lifetime campaign contributor, and one of my best friends,
Kenneth Lay, presided over the largest corporate bankruptcy fraud in
U.S. history, Enron.
Uh, better check out Obama's contributions. Most of them are from foreign soil.
My political party used Enron private jets and corporate attorneys to
assure my success with the U.S. Supreme Court during my election
decision.
I guess you still want the votes counted again. Your time would be better off spent doing something about ACORN and all the dead people still voting.
I have protected my friends at Enron and Halliburton against
investigation or prosecution. More time and money was spent
investigating the Monica Lewinsky affair than has been spent
investigating one of the biggest corporate rip-offs in history. I
presided over the biggest energy crisis in U.S. history and refused to
intervene when corruption involving the oil industry was revealed.
Another yawn.
I presided over the highest gasoline prices in U.S. history.
Talk your buddies, the liberal Dems, into drilling for more oil rather than telling us to check the air pressure in our tires.
I changed the U.S. policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded
government contracts..
What's the difference in that and ya'll allowing them to vote?
I appointed more convicted criminals to my administration than any
President in U.S. history.
Name one.
I created the Ministry of Homeland Security, the largest bureaucracy in the history of the United States Government.
I can think of others more troubling. Welfare and food stamps come to mind and mortgages that the Dems knew weren't going to get paid off.
I've broken more international treaties than any President in U.S.
history.
I am the first President in U.S. history to have the United Nations
remove the U.S. from the Human Rights Commission.
Screw the UN. Bunch of Commies anyway. We need to do away with the UN anyway, What a joke.
I withdrew the U. S. from the World Court of Law.
No miranda rights for terrorists, oh that bothers me lol.
I refused to allow inspector's access to U.S. "prisoners of war"
detainees and thereby have refused to abide by the Geneva Convention.
Again, refer to the above. Nobody else abides by the convention, why should we? Especially terrorists.
I am the first President in history to refuse United Nations election
inspectors (during the 2002 US election)
Yeah, that's just what we need, a bunch of idiots from other countries to run our election process. Give me a break.
I set the record for fewest numbers of press conferences of any
President since the advent of television.
He didn't figure you wanted to see him anyway. LMAO
I set the all-time record for most days on vacation in any one-year
period. After taking off the entire month of August, I presided over the
worst security failure in U.S. history
Another yawn.
I garnered the most sympathy ever for the U.S. after the World Trade
Center attacks and less than a year later made the U.S. the most hated country in the world, the largest failure of diplomacy in world history.
Not really. Just the liberal media portraying him in a bad way for the Kool-Aid drinkers. Take another sip.
I have set the all-time record for most people worldwide to
simultaneously pro-*test*-('") me in public venues (15 million people),
shattering the record for pro-*test*-('")s against any person in the history of
mankind I am the first President in U.S. history to order an unprovoked, preemptive attack and the military occupation of a sovereign nation. I did so against the will of the United Nations, the majority of U.S.Citizens and the world community.
Who cares? Screw the rest of the world. Take care of our own. If you don't like our country, go live in one set up by the UN.
I have cut health care benefits for war veterans and support a cut in
duty benefits for active duty troops and their families in wartime.
What a lie. Anyway I thought they were bad people invading countries all over the world doing misdeeds. Why should you care?
In my State of the Union Address, I lied about our reasons for attacking Iraq and then blamed the lies on our British friends.
Your party and your #1 president Clinton said the same thing with the same intelligence that Bush had. This is really getting lame.
I am the first President in history to have a majority of Europeans
(71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and
security.
Screw the Euorpeans. A bunch of ungrateful people that would still be talking all german had we not bailed them out in WWII. If Europe is so nice, move.
I am supporting development of a nuclear "Tactical Bunker Buster," a
WMD.
I hope so, we could use it for the next time they want to attack us and go hide in a hole.
I have so far failed to fu lfill my pledge to bring Osama Bin Laden to
justice.
We're still working on this one, OK.
RECORDS AND REFERENCES:
All records of my tenure as governor of Texas are now in my father's
library, sealed and unavailable for public view.
All records of SEC investigations into my insider trading and my
bankrupt companies are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public
view.
All records or minutes from meetings that I, or my Vice-President,
attended regarding public energy policy are sealed in secrecy and
unavailable for public review. I specified that my sealed documents will
not be available for 50 years.
I still haven't seen the Clinton records and Obama won't release any of his records. I swear people. What flavor of Kool-aid are ya'll drinking?

They show the the presidents approval rating and I was wondering who in their right mind could think Bush did a good job. Now I know.

Yeah, and I noticed congress, which is democrats and have been in control for over 2 years now, is lower. The same ones running the committee that oversees Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

From David Letterman, a Democrat who doesn't really like Bush. I thought this might apply for some in here.
Just read...and think about it...
David Letterman on President Bush
No matter what your political convictions are
this is eye opener....
What a thankless people we are!!!
David Letterman on President Bush
(Surprising)
David Letterman wrote this; it's the David we
don't often see....
' As most of you know I am not a President
Bush fan, nor have I ever been, but this is not
about Bush, it is about us, as Americans, and it
seems to hit the mark
'The other day I was reading Newsweek
magazine and came across some Poll data I found
rather hard to believe. It must be true given
the source, right?
The Newsweek poll alleges that 67
percent of Americans are unhappy with the
direction the country is headed and 69 percent of
the country is unhappy with the performance of
the President. In essence 2/3 of the citizenry
just ain't happy and want a change. So being the
knuckle dragger I am, I started thinking, 'What
are we so unhappy about?''
A.. Is it that we have electricity and
running water 24 hours a day, 7 Days a week?
B.. Is our unhappiness the result of
having air conditioning in the summer and heating
in the winter?
C.. Could it be that 95.4 percent of
these unhappy folks have a job?
D.. Maybe it is the ability to walk
into a grocery store at any time and see more
food in moments than Darfur has seen in the last
year?
E.. Maybe it is the ability to drive our
cars and trucks from the Pacific Ocean to the
Atlantic Ocean without having to present
identification papers as we move through each
state?
F.. Or possibly the hundreds of clean
and safe motels we would find along the way that
can provide temporary shelter?
G.. I guess having thousands of
restaurants with varying cuisine from around the
world is just not good enough either.
H. Or could it be that when we wreck
our car, emergency workers show up and provide
services to help all and even send a helicopter
to take you to the hospital.
I.. Perhaps you are one of the 70
percent of Americans who own a home.
J.. You may be upset with knowing that
in the unfortunate case of a fire, a group of
trained firefighters will appear in moments and
use top notch equipment to extinguish the flames,
thus saving you, your family, and your
belongings.
K.. Or if, while at home watching one
of your many flat screen TVs, a burglar or
prowler intrudes, an officer equipped with a gun
and a bullet-proof vest will come to defend you
and your family against attack or loss.
L.. This all in the backdrop of a
neighborhood free of bombs or militias raping and
pillaging the residents. Neighborhoods where
90% of teenagers own cell phones and computers.
M.. How about the complete religious,
social and political freedoms we enjoy that are
the envy of everyone in the world?
Maybe that is what has 67% of you folks
unhappy.
Fact is, we are the largest group of
ungrateful, spoiled brats the world has ever
seen. No wonder the world loves the U.S., yet
has a great disdain for its citizens. They see
us for what we are. The most blessed people in
the world who do nothing but complain about what
we don't have, and what we hate about the country
instead of thanking the good Lord we live here.
I know, I know. What about the
president who took us into war and has no plan to
get us out? The president who has a measly 31
percent approval rating? Is this the same
president who guided the nation in the dark days
after 9/11? The president that cut taxes to
bring an economy out of recession? Could this
be the same guy who has been called every name in
the book for succeeding in keeping all the
spoiled ungrateful brats safe from terrorist
attacks? The commander in chief of an
all-volunteer army that is out there defending
you and me?
Did you hear how bad the President is
on the news or talk show? Did this news affect
you so much, make you so unhappy you couldn't
take a look around for yourself and see all the
good things and be glad? Think about
it......are you upset at the President because he
actually caused you personal pain OR is it
because the 'Media' told you he was failing to
kiss your sorry ungrateful behind every day.
Make no mistake about it.
The troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have
volunteered to serve, and in many cases may have
died for your freedom. There is currently no
draft in this country. They didn't have to go.
They are able to refuse to go and end up with
either a ''general'' discharge, an 'other than
honorable'' discharge or, worst case scenario, a
''dishonorable' ' discharge after a few days in
the brig.
So why then the flat-out discontentment
in the minds of 69 percent of Americans?
Say what you want but I blame it on the
media. If it bleeds it leads and they
specialize in bad news. Everybody will watch a
car crash with blood and guts. How many will
watch kids selling lemonade at the corner? The
media knows this and media outlets are for-profit
corporations. They offer what sells, and when
criticized, try to defend their actions by
'justifying' them in one way or another. Just ask
why they tried to allow a murderer like O.J.
Simpson to write a book about how he didn't kill
his wife, but if he did he would have done it
this way......Insane!
Turn off the TV, burn Newsweek, and use the New
York Times for the bottom of your bird cage.
Then start being grateful for all we have as
country. There is exponentially more good than
bad. We are among the most blessed people on
Earth and should thank God several times a day,
or at least be thankful and appreciative.' 'With
hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud
slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up
the country from one end to another, and with the
threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, 'Are we
sure this is a good time to take God out of the
Pledge of Allegiance?'

I was pleased for the 1st 6 years. The last 2 I feel like he was a little passive about things and I ain't on board with the illegal immigration crap, but all in all I have been pleased. I think he is burned out a little now but who wouldn't be. He can't crap without the liberal news media talking about how stupid he is and probably didn't wipe the proper way. I appreciated his actions to kill terrorists and to keep us from getting attacked again. I think this country is a bunch of spoiled brats that don't appreciate what we have and listen to all crap that is fed to us on a daily basis rather than take a look around and use an open mind and see that things aren't that bad. Just my opinion.
skles718- 10-29-2008
I didn't hear any news reports when the DOW soared above 12,000 under Bush. It's funny to me that Dems want to blame the GOP for the state of our Economy when they have controlled 2 out of 3 executive branches for the last 2 years in which our economy collapsed. An economy which collapsed due to the shady business practices of the likes of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Why isn't there a forum topic bashing these CEO's and the lobbyists and the Senators that made life easier for these companies and took hundreds of thousands of dollars in return for tailor making laws to suit these companies who took advantage of the American worker? (ie. Sen. Dodd, Sen. Obama...)
Don't get me wrong... I'm not defending Bush because there is a lot he has done that I disagree with... but to honestly compare resumes of a past President with a man who has never ran anything in his life? Do you actually know the statistics on Chicago? There have been more murders in Chicago in the last six months than deaths of soldiers in Iraq in the last 6 months. Chicago has one of the worst education systems in the United States, look it up. Chicago has the highest sales tax of any city in the nation. Chicago is billions of dollars in debt, high in crime, poor in education and is completely controlled by Dems from the bottom to the top... Senator Obama.
He fought a legal battle so a little non-profit group called ACORN could receive millions of dollars in funding. He himself gave them $800k. By Federal law, non-profit groups receiving Federal money and getting certain tax benefits are not allowed to operate in a partisan manner, yet I watched a video recently of ACORN in action at an employee meeting where they were told "We need Obama to win this election...and Obama needs ACORN to win this election". So, they have proceeded to violate Federal law, receive our tax payer dollars to do it while registering dead people and fictional characters and paying homeless people in cash and cigarettes to go to the polls and vote. Now do you think this homeless person who was given a ride and money and cigarettes is going to walk in there and vote for McCain?
So, you think our former President's resume was bad? Yet you want to vote for a guy with no experience, who everytime we turn around is near something or somebody shady but of course is completely innocent and has no knowledge that there is/was mischief abound. He is either is the biggest liar we have ever seen or the most unfortunate fellow to constantly accidently be around people like Ayers, Rev. Wright, Khalid, Fannie Mae, ACORN... and completely idiotic to not know you don't hang around controversial people and organizations if you want to be President.
Look, I voted for Clinton and I thought he did a good job despite having some extra curricular activities. But, having an affair with Monica Lewinsky did not pose a threat to national security. I felt like he would protect America and protect Israel. I don't feel this with Obama. It seems like he seems to gravitate to these people who hate... Ayers hates America, Wright hates America, Khalid hates Israel. Obama penned an angry biography full of disgust for his white heritage. His wife writes angry speeches, angry College thesises about things like how she is not proud of her country. I want a Patriot in office, one who Pledge's Allegiance to the flag and prays and loves all Americans, not just those who share their race, one who is not angry with America, but is happy that we are free and that we have come this far. I would vote for Bush again before I would elect someone who sat in a church for 20 years and listened to hate speech without standing up for America, for Americans. If he didn't have the guts to stand up to his "mentor" and "spiritual advisor", will he have the guts to stand up to Iran, Russia, North Korea?
I'm not putting down anyone's decision, but let's be serious this election. Let's not vote for the person we'd rather hang out with or who's more attractive. Let's vote for someone who will do what they say they're going to do, stand up for what's right, put an end to things that are wrong. Sometimes you have to not vote along party lines, but vote with your gut feeling. Mine tells me to fear Obama. So, I will vote for McCain.

Fastpitch62, your David Letterman rant is not real. Might want to check stuff out these days, lot of misinformation out there.

Well if he didn't say it, he should have. It's pretty dead on. Thanks. Your right about the misinformation, kinda like it's all Bush's fault on the stock market crash.

Ran across this while reading this morning...
Iraq vet address to ObamaNotice as this young man walks away from the camera. He has a distinctive limp. Apparently he lost a leg while fighting for the freedoms of the Iraqi people.
