crc has had a pretty decent basketball program for a tiny school. they have talent like ronnie tagge the mcfarland kid some guy named alonzo from norfork and a guy from delight that was pretty decent. a couple years back they had some good players in carl elleby eric lyerely a bic native and some wallace guy sutton maybe. i think that they are recruiting a couple of the swifton guys for next year.they didnt have a good year this year but tagge will be back next yr and he avg. 20+ bout 3/4rbs & 5/6ast 2stl a game which is extremely solid

Since today, when he walked out on us before the Itawamba game.
I dont know the exact story, but I can give you something along the lines of it. Now I wasnt at this game due to having surgery to remove my wisdom teeth, but my reliable source told me that during the Shawnee game, we had a batter at the plate and he was given the hit and run signal, with Michael on first. Michael does his job and steals but the batter does not swing because he says it was too inside. Michael gets thrown out at second base and goes into the dugout throwing stuff everywhere, showing his anger. Coach Scott then tells him in between innings he would not start the first game of the Itawamba double header due to throwing his helmet and having an attitude. When Coach Scott announced the starting lineup for the first game of the dh, Michael got his things and calmly walked off the field after he heard he wouldnt be starting.
Again, I dont know the EXACT story but it was along the lines of that.
You'll have to ask Michael for the exact story, I havent gotten the chance to sit down with him and talk about it but it was his decision to leave us.
Is this kid at CRC on a baseball scholarship?
No.
CRC does not give out athletic scholarships.
Everyone here pays their own full tuition.
