I hope whoever becomes prez will be someone who is not afraid to stand up for the USA, be a protector of our Bill of Rights, and protects our borders---that doesn't leave very many to choose from!

I'm leaning very heavy toward Huckabee, but then I share a lot of his views

Some say look what a mess Arkansas is in....
Because of the actions of the Huckabee we have an Interstate Highway System that was stagnant for decades. Yes, we have fewer schools also, but someone had to draw the line somewhere.

McCain is a mug-womp...Mug on one side of the fence and his womp on the other. Indecisiveness is a very dangerous characteristic.

Giuliani is a great businessman, but I can't fathom voting for someone who is pro-choice.


Hilary Clinton is well.....Bill Clinton's husband, or wife...either one fits her. She came from Arkansas, yet ran for office in New York. Blind faith democrats from Arkansas still slobber all over themselves at the mentioning of her name.

Remember socialized medicine, I feel your pain and I never had sex with that woman? Vince Foster and Ron Brown paid the ultimate price for the Clinton administration...I'm sure all that isn't important to some. Sad huh

People might call the republican tactics smear, but then again the democrats are spreading it on thick using catch phrases and political mumbo-jumbo of their own. Yes, you can. The mainstream media (CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS) has been pushing for Obama sense he started.

Fox's programming does lean to the right quite a bit (O'Reilly) for example. But, their news coverage is very unbiased. NOw, I like O'Reilly, but not as a source of news.

I'm not saying that the other networks don't lean to one side or the other. I'm saying that Fox News is the absolute worst about it.

Fox is the only news worth watching. They report everything. It is a breath of fresh air to hear something besides the liberal hog slop thrown by CNN, Msnbc , all the networks. If you want bias watch the liberal news. At least you can hear both sides on fox, only one side on all the other networks.

Up until 1988 I thought of myself as a very liberal individual. I even attended a campaign rally for then Presidential candidate Michael Ducacus. I listened attentively as he gave his speech, and myself like most all others present applauded as he gave his ideas as to the direction the nation would be going when he was elected President. Program after program was mentioned and entitlement after entitlement filled his speech. At the time I was 25 and was doing my best to keep up with all of these new programs he planned on introducing as soon as he took the oath of office. I then asked myself, "where is all of this money going to come from?" I knew then it was time I looked past the rhetoric and really took time to get to know the candidate. Although I thought it an honor to be courted by a Presidential candidate I ended up voting got Bush.

Look past the campaign slogans. Slogans are for those who don't have the sense to investigate for themselves before voting and really shouldn't be allowed to. Voting isn't a right, it's a privilege...treat it with respect.

We will just have to agree to disagree.
