Most folks are speculating that it's academic. That hurts. An already young and inexperienced team just got moreso. Oh well, fresh starts for both Pelphrey and Petrino; we'll see if they can build something. I believe that they can.

This is a tough loss. What's even more scary at this point is Fortson and Henry haven't been cleared to play yet either.

If they don't get cleared, then we only have 9 scholarship players on the roster. That makes for a difficult season.

I have great confidence in Pelphrey, but this may be too big of an obstacle to overcome for the 2008-2009 season.

Any word yet on Fortsorn or Henry??

That's good news!!! One down, one to go.......hopefully we get the same ruling for Henry.
