Great day in Earle, the smell of good ole southern bar b Q was thick in the air from the Earle Fall Festival day and on the other side of town the gridiron was cooking as well. There was some deviation from the schedule because the toast (Little Rock Razorbacks 9-10 year old) of the big event was asked personally to stay around by special guest observer Coach Moody to see how they would perform against a team with the vast area recruiting ability similar to theirs, the Memphis Wolf Pack 9-10 year old. The Little Rock Razorbacks prove to be a little league team worthy of traveling on a chartered bus with twelve coaches. Turrell showed up against all odds and held their own regardless of the fact that their first games of the season came during this event and my hat goes off to Coach Dell for revitalizing and reserrecting this program from scratch. The Main Event of the day was filled with loud sounds of hard hits, crowd roaring and great respect between the two programs. The future is very bright!!!

Schedule change was necessary due to the fact that the Memphis Blue Devil Team ran into transportation issues, the day went as such!

Earle Bulldogs 21 vs Turrell Rockets 0 (age 9-10 years old)
Earle Bulldogs 28 vs Turrell Rockets 6 (age 11-12 years old)
North Little Rock Steelers 0 vs Marianna Sharks 6 (age 9-10 years old)
Earle Bulldogs 0 vs Little Rock Razorbacks 24 (age 9-10 years old)
Earle 14 vs Marianna Sharks 6 (age 11-12 years old)
Little Rock Razorbacks 28 vs Turrell Rockets 6 (age 11-12 years old)
Little Rock Razorbacks 32 vs Memphis Wolfpack 6 (age 9-10 years old)

Prime Time Main Event
4:00pm Memphis Wolfpack 6 vs Earle Bulldogs 14 (age 11-12 years old)

Battle on the Border will continue and grow, I have thee verbal commitments from Mississippi teams located in Olive Branch, South Haven and South Penola, Little Rock Grizzles. Little Rock Razorbacks and North Little Rock Steelers, Marianna and Turrell, Memphis Wolf Pack and Cordova Colts. If any NEA programs are interested in next years Battle on the Border, PM the Blaze!!!! This is a good experience for the children to see talent extreme in action.

Great Day for Earle, 3-1 on the day, only lost was to a Arkansas Pee Wee Powerhouse that has been in existance since 1974, The Little Rock Razorbacks!!! Memphis Wolf Pack, had a ton of athletisism and were very, very hard hitting, however they had trouble defending the single wing and it's deception, this game could have went either way. Little Rock Razorbacks are the truth NEA, everyone thought that they were a group of midgets posing as Pee Wee, but they were all legit, with records ready to prove it and actually smaller than both of their opponents that they destroyed, they simply demostrated to all pee wee's present today big and small, how the game is supposed to be played. They were serious! All teams present today have been invited to play at the "Central Arkansas Showdown," Nov. 7th at North Little Rock High School on "astro turf"! "Astro Turf" should be a great experience for the kids! I need more NEA teams for next years event, so if you feel good about your program give me a PM and let's put your program to the -*test*-('") in The "2009 Battle on the Border"! The blaze is out because I'm tired as all get out Scott!!!!
