CAN 6 YEAR OLDS PLAY FOOTBALL ANYWHERE ?
Used to have a flag football league at the Y. My son played there in the 3rd grade.
I think that Pokey and Paragould have leagues and i think that 3rd or 4th grade is the starting age.. Hope this helps.. Still Wish that we HAD pee wee football...

IMO...6 years old is a bit young for any contact. Hoxie's program begins with the 4th graders.

I've heard they have a flag football program for the younger kids. Contact football starts at around the 3rd grade.

The YMCA only has flag football. I believe it starts for either kindergarden are first grade. Earle bell has tackle football starting in 5th grade. The Boy's club in Paragould has tackle football starting in 3rd grade.

I meant to say that Paragould has contact football starting in the third grade. Sorry, my statement was unclear.
Pokey's pee wee program runs 4th thru 6th grade.
It is the GREENE CO. Boys & Girls Club( not the schools) that has a peewee football program, which does start with 3rd & 4th grade players in pads. And players from all over are welcome to play, I know that several players from Corning & Jonesboro area have been in the league in the past few years.
