Why is Little League not playing in the National Youth Baseball Championships?

Timing and rules. I think they missed a great opportunity.

No thanks, I'll post it here. nearsports/4fcd5118.gif
Speaking of posting, I thought you were done a few weeks back "expert?"
You need to change your handle to littleleagueexpert; youth baseball is so much bigger than LL.
I'm surprised you have time to post, being in Williamsport and all. You are in Williamsport aren't you?

Your comments are always full of sarcasm and lack any inteligent substance. If you want to talk and conduct adult conversation I will be glad to do that. I was going to stop comunicating in this forum. But, some of the users contacted me and asked me to continue.

You speak of my handle. I have addressed this several times, but because of CarrMADUKE's name, the last part may have reference to Marmaduke and I have alot of folks there that I work closely with every year and have respect for, I will explain. For the last 25 years I have been involved with youth baseball programs. I have expirenced baseball in Little League, Babe Ruth, Cal Ripkin, USSSA ,AAU and My softball expirence was in ASA and USSSA. Any other time that a person spend 25 years working in a field they are understood to be a subject matter expert.

So, Carrmaduke get over it. nearsports/th_41616-4.gif

Funny...you can't even spell intelligent, or most other words for that matter. nearsports/07388820.gif I've had enough fun for now. I'll let you continue to rave about how wonderful LL is. Thanks for allowing me to spew my "vile sarcasm."

Youth, I agree with most of your posts but just because you has experience in a field for 25 years does not make you and expert. I know many people that have spent 20+years in a field that I certainly would not call an expert. I guess it depends on what you definition of what an expert is. You may indeed be an "expert", I do not know, but for anyone to call themselves an expert in anything is vane. The expert label should be applied from other people not from someone desribing themselves. JMO and in reality, what difference does your user name on this forum even matter - its pretty trivial, just keep helping the kids.

Maybe you are right. I am man enough to admit to that.

Can someone explain to me when grammar and writing skills were outlawed in northeast Arkansas?

Interesting how the National Championship for 12 yr olds in Memphis turned out. When looking at how each team did in pool and bracket, each organization was well represented with the Cal Ripken US 2nd place team in the finals with the Juice, as highly regarded AAU team. The Juice by the way put it to them. When it gets to that level, those boys were evenly matched whether from AAU, USSSA, Cal, Dixie, Super Series or where ever. I noticed their fences were 285+. Very good baseball!!!
