Bay looks Good this season, Garner 40 point victory over Mustangs

Bay Yellowjackets got an impressive victory over the BIC in the opening game of the season at the Mustang Athletic Complex Tuesday nite and Nearsports was there.

The Jackets looked good and Blake Hogan, formerly of Riverside made significant contributions to the victory.

Bay looks strong to go deep in the state tourney this year.

Dont jink us NEAR, way to early for that but it was an impressive start. We have two big tests this weekend with Guy and Abundant Life, two teams that also have state title expectations every year.

I want to also take my hat off to our Junior High for a very impressive performance last night as well. Coach Brannen has a good thing going!

Don't want to jinx you but we called EPC BIC & Turrell to go deep after the Joe V last year and they did. We alos called Meblbourne to go deep after the Joe V

Bay was just so impressive last nite. Well disciplined. Strong. Tough. Defensive Minded and offensive capable.

I'm sorry I'm sticking with my orginal prognostication.. Bay will go deep in the State Tourney this year!

Brad Brennan is a great coach and is doing a very impressive job at bay both in Jr High and High School.Keep up the good work

they are pretty good, but they should be good moving down to A.

Right now we are 2-0 against AA teamswith our other win over the defending class A champs, last year we would have had a real chance to win the AA conference and I would feel pretty good about our chances this year as well. There is a reason you get moved to A its because you don't have as many kids as AA schools just like AA is seperated from AAA and so on and so forth. These kids and there coach have worked to hard for people like me to let these "well they should be cause there only class A" comments go. Tell us who your team is and I will see if coach can get them on the schedule.

Dont they play Brookland Friday? That could be their first loss of the season...

ridgefield beat brookland in the joe v jones.no disrespect to brookland,but i dont see a good game with bay.bay is the real deal.need to control the attitudes though.dont get the big head early in the season.

Exactly, and they need to keep the bus running so they can make it to all the games this is always important. I figure the attitudes are in check after the loss to Turrell.

Where is the Bay/Brookland game @ tonight? And what teams are playing?

The game is at Bay, but my schedule shows it to be with Rector.

Glenn88, BBdad has always been a fan of Brookland basketball that I can remember.

doesn't bay have a new starter this year that transferred in? i didnt see anyone new mentioned in the jonesboro sun basketball insert on sunday. and good luck to bay. i was just messing with you guys a few weeks ago. yall have a good team. good blend of size, shooting, and ball handling.
